ROKU SAYS I NEED TO SUBSCRIBE AGAIN

Yippee has 3 different ways to watch Yippee via Roku, the instructions for watching them are different.

OUR FIRST STEP IS TO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE USING THE CORRECT APP CORRESPONDING TO WHERE YOU PURCHASED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.

  1. On your Roku TV do a search for Yippee.
  2. You will see the 2 icons show up below. One icon is for the Yippee Premium Subscription, and one is for the standalone Yippee App

Yippee Premium Subscriptions App               Yippee Roku Standalone App

3. If you already subscribed to Yippee via Yippee’s direct website, iOS, GooglePlay, Amazon Fire, Roku or Vizio, please make sure you click on the standalone app icon, which looks like this below:

4. If you subscribe to Yippee via the Yippee Premium Roku Subscriptions, you can only use the Roku Premium app. Which looks like the icon image below:

Please Note: You cannot switch a subscription purchase from one store or app version to another. Your subscription will only work inside the specific app or platform where it was originally purchased.

For more detailed instructions for accessing each type of subscription on your Roku please see below:

1. Watching the Standard Yippee App Subscription (Via Roku Subscription)

If you subscribed directly through the standalone Yippee app (using Roku Pay), your access is confirmed by logging into that specific channel. Here is an image of the App’s Icon below (please make sure you select the correct one). If it states you need to subscribe, you either need to restore your subscription or choose the other Yippee icon on the Roku.

Access Instructions:

  1. Press the Home button 🏠 on your Roku remote.
  2. Navigate to and open the Yippee - Faith filled shows! Roku Channel Store.
  3. On the app's home screen, select Sign In.
  4. Enter the email address and password you used when you originally subscribed.
  5. If you still cannot access content, select the Restore Purchase option (sometimes found in the settings menu) to sync your subscription with your Roku account.

2. Watching The Yippee Premium Roku Channel Subscription (Yes! This is different form the above)

If you subscribed to Yippee as a Premium Subscription through The Roku Channel, your access is consolidated within The Roku Channel app itself. Here is an image of the Icon of this app below:

Access Instructions:

  1. Press the Home button 🏠 on your Roku remote.
  2. Navigate to and open The Roku Channel app.
  3. Ensure you are logged into the correct Roku account that made the purchase.
  4. Navigate to the My Subscriptions section or simply find the Yippee content listed within The Roku Channel's main library.

Please note that if you have both, these subscriptions are entirely separate and you are currently being billed twice. We highly recommend cancelling one of the subscriptions and keeping one that best suits your viewing needs. To help you determine which one to keep, you can check your billing history at my.roku.com or send our team a screenshot of the charge from your credit card account to support@yippee.tv, and we will help you identify the purchase location.

3. Watching Subscriptions Purchased on Other Platforms on your Roku.

If you have bought a Yippee subscription on the direct Yippee website or via Apple, Google, or Amazon Fire, you must log in using your Yippee subscription account email and password on the standalone Yippee app. Here is an image of what it looks like below:

Access Instructions:

  1. Press the Home button 🏠 on your remote and open the Yippee - Faith filled shows! Roku Channel Store.
  2. Select Sign In and enter your subscription email and password.
  3. If sign-in fails, look for the Restore Purchase option in the app's settings to sync your subscription.
